The Dentists at Jones & Karolewski Dental Surgery in Caringbah aim to deliver a warm and compassionate welcome to all patients. The practice was started nearly twenty years' ago by Dr Alexandra Jones and Dr Julita Karolewski, who met whilst studying dentistry at the University of Sydney. Alexandra and Julita share a common interest in delivering ethical, compassionate dentistry and have built the practice on those principles.
Alexandra is co-founder of the practice, along with Julita Karolewski. In her capacity as principal and adviser at the practice, Alexandra is committed to supporting the team to provide the best dental care to patients. Alexandra has over 20 years' experience in general dental practice and is an examiner for the MRACDS program for the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons. Alexandra has a doctorate in oral pathology, and is a peer reviewer for the Dental Board of Australia. Concurrent with establishing the Jones & Karolewski private dental practice, Alexandra has worked as a post-doctoral research academic in the field of tumour molecular immunobiology. Alexandra is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons.
Alexandra is a lecturer and clinical tutor for third and fourth year dental students at the School of Dentistry and Health Sciences at Charles Sturt University in Orange NSW. She now practices general restorative dentistry as part of the Jones and Karolewski team in Molong and Orange in country NSW.

Julita Karolewski is co-founder and principal of Jones and Karolewski and is a practising dentist at the surgery in Caringbah. Julita has more than 20 years' experience in general dentistry and is dedicated to delivering exceptional dental work with a caring and compassionate approach.
Julita’s special interests include the treatment of facial pain and temporomandibular jaw disorders (TMJ).

Catherine joined Jones & Karolewski in 2006 after finishing her full-time career with the Australian Regular Army. As a dental officer in the army, Catherine was deployed on peace-keeping operations in East Timor and in more remote locations; she also participated as a dentist in the army's indigenous assistance program. As well as being a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, Catherine has served as Assistant Registrar for General Dental Practice at the College since 2009.
Catherine has completed a post-graduate diploma in Clinical Dentistry (Conscious Sedation & Pain Control). In 2013, she was awarded Fellowship in the International College of Dental Surgeons.
Paul is one of the team of experienced dentists at Jones & Karolewski; he joined the practice in 2009. As well as all aspects of general dental practice, Paul enjoys family dental care - treating the very old to the very young. Paul, who gained his degree from the University of Sydney School of Dentistry - has significant experience with implants, expertise in root canal work and is adept at crown and bridge work. As a Shire resident, Paul feels a special tie to Jones & Karolewski's surgery in Caringbah.

Dr Paul Dell’Oro
Smitha joined Jones & Karolewski in 2013, having worked in private practice for 10 years in Canberra, Adelaide and Sydney. She completed a Masters of Science in Conservative Dentistry at the Eastman Dental Institute (University College London) where she received additional training in crown and bridge and implant dentistry.
She also has significant experience with treating sleep apnea. Smitha is also involved in research and teaching, and is currently a clinical tutor for final year students at The University of Sydney. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons and serves on the NSW Regional Committee of the College.
